Okay friends. I am SO excited to share this blog post with you.
Carmen + Tyler had the most fairytale, dreamy, perfect Wedding day earlier this September. You guys. I mean, it was PERFECT.
When we first arrived at Fairview Farms, it was hot and sunny out, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky!!! About an hour before the ceremony, I started to hear thunder, but still, no clouds. About 10 minutes before the start of the ceremony, the clouds started coming in and the sky looked like it was literally going to open up.
As they came down the aisle, the thunder began to roar and you could tell that the Lord was truly there. These two began to wash each others feet and the rain started to pour out. Y’all, it was so magical. And I hope every single wedding is like that. We ran under the pavilion to escape the rain and finished up the ceremony. Right as these two said “I do” the thunder clapped so loud that everyone in the room was startled. Clearly, the Lord knew that these two were meant to be and wanted to show them in every way possible that HE WAS THERE.
Anyways, Carmen + Tyler you are two of the most loving people I’ve ever met and I adore y’all with all my heart! Your wedding was such a JOY and I’m so glad that I got to be part of it!!
Okay, so enough from me, here’s all the photos– EEK!
These Bridesmaids, y’all. First of all, aren’t they adorable?! Just the sweetest group of girls and the robes are TO DIE FOR!!!
The brides sister, Charlotte, brought Bradley (the service dog) to the Wedding and just look at that face– such a nugget. I love him!!
Time for details (aka one of my favorite parts of every wedding hehe)
Just look at these flowers!! Carmen’s bouquet was one of my favorites ever!
Her sweet mom and sister both helped her get ready, which was just such a special moment!
I’m obsessed with this black and white shot. No words needed. The expression on Charlotte’s face says it all!
I love BOTH of these moments. First is Charlotte helping her sweet sister put on her shoes (which were the CUTEST Kate Spade Keds I’ve ever seen!!!) and then Carmen seeing herself in the mirror for the first time after putting on the dress– such a sweet moment!
Just wait for these bridals. I’m obsessed. Carmen– you’re a STUNNER.
Look at those cute Keds!!! Carmen, her mom, and her sister all wore these Keds and I am literally obsessed. Such a smart move to go for comfort on the wedding day!!!
This first look with dad is giving me ALL THE FEELS.
This has to be one of my favorites from the day, her dad gave her this handkerchief to dry her tears as they just talked to eachother before the wedding.
Carmen and Tyler didn’t want to do a “first look” before the ceremony and wanted to keep it super traditional, but they decided on the “first touch” instead! This moment was literally so sweet and it made me cry.Â
Tyler is such a stud. Look at that smile!!!!
Ceremony time!!!
The wind was blowing so much as Carmen came down the aisle and her veil just became an epic canopy around them. It was so cool!
This photo of Tyler seeing his bride for the first time made me SO happy. Just look at that sweet face. So magical!
And y’all. I wasn’t kidding when I said the sky was about to open up during the ceremony. These clouds were all around.
The two decided to wash each others feet, just as Jesus did for his disciples in John chapter 13.
And then, y’all. The sky OPENED up. And it poured. So we all ran to this pavilion which ended up being so magical 🙂
THEY’RE MARRIED!!!! AHHHH!!!
Thank goodness it stopped raining in time for us to run out and grab some bridal party photos! I love this photo for the bridesmaids helping sweet Carmen! These girls were so sweet and helpful all day!
Just check out this killer bridal party. Can we say SQUAD GOALS?!
And these bridesmaids. Y’all. I’m DYING.
This next shot of Tyler helping sweet Carmen with her gown makes me so happy. These two are just meant to be and their love shines through!
Couples portraits are my FAVORITE. And these cuties made my job SO easy!
Quite possibly my favorite shot of the day!
Or this one.. Honestly, I can’t decide.
Just look at these flowers and that cake!!!!! I’m obsessed.
Their first dance was so special and gave me all the feels. I always cry on Wedding days at least twice and this dance made me so teary eyed. It was amazing!
The Father Daughter dance and Mother Son dances were just so special. And I love every moment from this sweet time.
Oh, and this Wedding cake was delicious. The Mixing Bowl Bakery will be on my go to list forever and ever!!! The cake was amazing!!
One of the most special parts of the day is probably this next moment. Carmen had expressed how she really wanted to get sunset portraits on the day of. However, the sun had other plans and it literally rained ALL night. But. The moment they finished cutting the cake, I looked outside and saw THIS. Y’all the pink and purple sky. I died. And these are probably my favorite “sunset” photos ever!!!!!!!
These two KILLED it on the dance floor. It was incredible.
Carmen + Tyler, I’m so in love with your Wedding day and can’t wait for you to get your full gallery! I love you both so much!!
